Catechesis at Immanuel
Catechesis is the process of making disciples. Its simplest meaning is to educate, but catechesis involves much more than classroom learning.

Catechesis can be likened to training in marital arts. A disciple is trained in body by good habits, such as prayer and attending the Divine Service. A disciple is trained in mind by attending Bible classes and other, education-focused events. A disciple is trained in righteousness by forming the habit of good works in love toward the brotherhood. All of this is included in the word "catechesis".
